Hi, I'm Zayna!

I was born in Jordan but was raised in the US! I am incredibly grateful for my family, who have built me up and supported my crazy passion for this art the entire way! Growing up in Erie, Pennsylvania, I got bit by the theatre bug early and quickly took to the stage at the Erie Playhouse, where my love for theatre truly began. My stage debut was at age 5 as (Pirate #7) in How I Became a Pirate Jr and I still haven't been able to outdo that performance (and I've tried... see below for proof.)​​​

I have recently discovered an excitement for New Work! Some that I have been working on recently include; ​The Morris and Essex Line (Aurora,) Book and Lyrics by Ryan Cunningham, Music by Joshua Salzman, Centralia (Teresa,) Book and Lyrics by Adam Chanler-Berat, Music by Julian Hornik, and an upcoming project titled Wild Child (Roses,) Book and Lyrics by Book and lyrics by Dan Marshall, Music by Julianne Wick Davis.

I will forever be grateful for and proud of my education. The four years that I have spent at Penn State studying Musical Theatre will always hold a special place in my heart. WE ARE!
